Review:
This is a very underrated album that still gets love from anyone who is familiar with Mylo's music. Songs like "Valley Of The Dolls", "In My Arms", "Paris Four Hundred", "Rikki", and "Zenophile" are guaranteed to knock you off your seat, fuck your wife and children, and then arrest them. That's about it. This album gets all the love I can give; well, at least for tonight.

So . . . you may wonder why, If this album from my favourite electro artist was released so long ago (4 years - have gone fast!), I am talking about it so much later now????

Well, I cam across the blisfully amazing and fabulous song Zenophile on itunes, just some minutes ago, and it reminded me how fantastic this album is! I have long been a fan of Mylo since the release of the catchy "Doctor Pressure", and loved this album to pieces when I first fot my hands on it in late 2004 . So much so........I am listening to this masterpiece by the Scottish wonder as I speak.

It reminds me of good times . . . . . . sunbathing in Italy, relaxing around the pool of a five star hotel, getting drunk and afterparties!!!

UAHHHAAAHHHAAAA

Holidays.........anyone??????

Pictures : The so called paradise on earth!!!!! . . . And I'm soon going to be there!

Well, I love to travel! So I cannot certainly get through the year without at least two or three!!
So, I hear you ask.....where am I going? In around two weeks time I will be on the beatiful Island of Zaknthos, partying away my stresses of life. . . . . . so excited!

Lying a short distance of the North-western tip of the Peloponesse and South of the Islands Of Kerkira, Kefalonia, Paxi and Lafkada, Zakynthos (more commonly known as Zante) is the sixth of the seven Ionian Isles known as the Eptannissa. Unlike the islands in the Aegean that are mostly rocky outcroppings, the islands of the Ionian sea are lush and green.

I shall be visiting that part of Zakynthos called Laganas . . . and I absolutely cannot wait!!!!

Mischa and Daisy do the highstreet.........Proving designer isn't always best!!!!!!

MISCHA BARTON (TOP)
DAISY LOWE (BOTTOM)

First, Brit fashion-pack favourite Daisy Lowe hit the TOPSHOP rails this week for a fah-bulous new frock - and now it seems Mischa Barton has followed suit. The LA stylet reached fot the TOPSHOP star-print dress when she was in London Taaahhn last week, and now has been spotted wearing it out and about in Berlin. Now,we all know Mischa is a big fan of TOPSHOP - and frankly I don't blame her - but with TOPSHOP now opening stores stateside , I can't help but feel a teensy weensy bit jealous that soon every Tom , Dick and Ashanti will be getting their hands on Englands TOPSHOP treasures!!!! Jeez, if it carries on like this we'll just have to trade places and turn into Gucci or Armani . Or maybe not . . . . .

If you fancy getting a a slice of Mischa's wardrobe, then head to your local TOPSHOP, like, right now! The star-print frock sold out online in a matter of minutes two days ago, but the toppers crew have assured us that there are still some in store . . . . . or just check out the website to see if any of the other fabulous dresses tickle your fancy!!!!

SIN bar/club, Covent Garden, LONDON!!!!!!!

Having risen out of the best forgotten ashes of Rouge, Sin offers something for everyone right in the heart of London.

The Venue
Sin offers a plush clubbing experience in the heart of London without the tourists that many of the clubs in the area are jam packed with. Scantily clad waitresses are dotted around the club, serving drinks as you make your way from room to room soaking up the party vibe.

The Decor
Grown up and sexy is the order of the day as sumptuous reds, luxurious cream, and lavish wooden floors surround you throughout the club. Each room has something different to offer, from the exposed brick walls of the ground floor to the modern feel of the small bar

The Club
Each room has a flavour of its own with musical offerings ranging from RnB to house music. The ballroom is where groups chill out in booths under sparkling chandeliers, while you might spot the odd B-boy on the dancefloor. For those who want to get cosy the bedroom offers bed size sofas, and the waitress service allows you to relax all night long. If you like your music harder head to the ground floor for house music, whilst the small bar and the exclusive VIP bar both have a friendly feel.

The Atmosphere
Stylish yet unpretentious sums up Sin. Sexily dressed clubbers wear the latest fashions with a touch of individuality. People mingle in the smaller bars whilst groups of friends enjoy the dancefloors in each room.

The Last Word

With each room playing different music and late opening hours this club is the perfect place for a sinfully good night out.

I've been to SIN (on the site of former club ROUGE) a few times now, and I have to say, the place is fantastic. Some of my best nights out in Covent Garden have been at SIN . Stylish, fashionable people; good drinks - although admittedly priced higher than average; great music; and a suitably party-filled atmosphere all add-up to a winner . Security/guestlists are curteous, fair, yet firm; entry staff-coat check & cover charge booth are both friendly; bar staff (throughout 5 bars!) are very capable - watch for any of the guys to occasionally engage in some great bar flare for you entertainment; and there are a handful of attractive (and often SINfully corsetted) "hostesses" who will escort you to your reserved table/booth when you arrive . (Also, all toilets have an attendant with requisite selections of fragrances.)

From the main entrance, past coat check, up the stairs to the first floor, you hit the Main Room . A few stairs on then right lead to the Ballroom's bar, booth and dance floor . Beyond the main room (past the ballroom entrance), stairs go up to a mirrored room (often booked for private parties) or down to (ground level) the Antechamber ; there's another coat check here and an 'al fresco' (open air / outdoor) seating area off this room. Downstairs, is the Bedroom Basement, complete with loungers / "beds" scattered around. As you walk through, take in the decor... You can run a tab, and unlike another places I've been to (not naming names), at SIN you *can* go to 'any' bar in the place and still bill to your tab. Very convenient. The sound, I find, is best in the Ballroom. The Basement can get a bit muggy, especially when crowded - which Sin often is. Going all night, through until 4am, it's a great place to party the weekend away. Stumbling out into early morning daylight - and catch .

Well and truly my official Muse .

Who doesn't love Alexa Chung?!

(very top picture)

alexa chung
Jacket and dress by Topshop, bag by Marc Jacobs
Arctic Monkey-ette and indoubtly the coolest presenter in town . Channels bratty, scruffy and nautical and hangs tough at only the grittiest of gigs in 3J Phillip Lim and Luella .

Often seen in a navy children's princess coat- which cost a tenner in Brick Lane . Filthy cool .
Your Bag? God . I want the classic black chanel quilted bag .
Your trend? Layering .
Your inspiration? The Shirelles.

The GLAMOUR women of the year awards . . .they came, they WON, they partied!

Once again, the GLAMOUR women of the year awards was the hottest party of the year . . . .

A-list celebrities including Daisy Lowe and Mark Ronson, Hayden Panettiere and Kate Beckinsale, amazing dresses, incredible winners, a flame-haired (and ..erm "festive") Lily Allen and a dangerously slippery stage - 2008's Awards, in association with Aussie haircare, were hotter - and wilder- than ever! From Gavin & Stacey's James Corden carrying Beth Ditto off the stage to Annie Lennoxes standing ovation, this was one magical evening. After the ceremony, Dominic Cooper and funny woman Joanna Page hit the dance floor, while Mark Ronson and Lily Allen camped out in the smokers' tent (complete with swing!). But the best thing about the night was how thrilled every winner was that they'd been voted for by the many GLAMOUR readers . Naturally, they celebrated in style . . . .

Congratulations also to the fabulous Kelly Osbourne who won Theatre Actress of the year!

Beth Ditto gave a memorable acceptance speech, saying " I'm a really wordy person and I'm never at loss for words, but y'know what? I just want to say . . . fuck it- thanks!", and was then carried of stage by Gavin and stacey's star James Corden!

Classic Rock n Roll Posters

(Top)

A very rare in-store promo piece advertising David Bowie's 1977 "Lodger" album . To suggest Bowie falling, a speacial table was constructed, which was obscured by the poster. The striking cover was a collaboration between Bowie, British pop artist Derek Boshier and the photographer Duffy .

(Bottom)

The Rolling stones, "Tatoo you", 1981 . Original promo poster by Peter Corriston, who also designed the iconic sleeve artwork for Led Zepplins "Physical Graffiti" . This is one of hundreds of classic rock n roll designs to be found on www.rockexplosion.com .

My Favourite London haunt . . . .

This is the Kingly Club .

"The place James Bond takes a lady at the end of a film" - The sunday telegraph .

One of London's most desirable venues, the Kingly club offers exclusive membership. . . which I am lucky to have . . . .

Just off Golden Square, in Soho's Kingly court; it is on the site of the legendary 1960's pinstripe club .

Likened to The Hollywood Club, Milano . . . this club is hard to get into, but it's well worth then try. The Knigly Club offers an intimate and chic environment. Their is a range of fabulous drinks and the freshest Cocktails to enjoy from the stunning glass bar. Add this to the service of fresh Sushi and
canapés and the dedicated personal services and the result is the most chic, elegant and sought ater venue amongst the beautiful people of London .

After drinks and food, party the night away and mingle amongst private booths and tables enclosed by dramatic aquariums. The ultra modern surroundings sets this place apart from anywhere else .

Private hire of the club means literally anyone can celebrate any event at the gorgeous club; wether it be a Birthday party, a corporate event, photo-shoots, album launches or simply partying the night away with friends, the Kingly team will make a speacial occasion of you event .

From what I, personally have seen of the event....on the very same site, the Kingle club celebrate the Heritage of the privileged venue...and are absolutely commited to maintaining the glamour, mystique and style which was once the legenday Pinstriped club .

This club really is special. . . .I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out . . . it makes a girl feel a million dollars to party all night long in this exclusive club . . .

Friday night is the best night to visit , in my opinion . It's "some like it HOT!" night, where you can kick off the weekend in style with a glamorous crowd at the kingly club with DJ James Fly . The dress is sexy and sylish and you can party from 9pm to 3am . . . . . .

. . . . . . do take a trip into the kingly court, and you might find a surprise in the shape of THE KINGLY CLUB!

Kisses . . . .x

Pharrell is officially cool and back in again . . . .

. . . . . . after his recent collaboration with the mighty Madonna, as she gets featured with him in her arty new video and song "Give it to me" .

Pharrell has taken somewhat of a slump recently, not been in the limelight for sometime for his talent .But as I say, he is back in style . . . . his appearance in the anniversary adds of Converse with the hip and chic Santogold and Julian Casablancas . He has hit the big time again, proving he is one of America's coolest.

"Give it to me" is a great song to party too, all night long . As I know to well . . . . . I spent the last weekend table danicing to it . . . . . . . .

Kisses
